Sam's Carpet Care Biography
My wife, daughter (Karen and Emily) and I work with fellow staff members to bring you the highest
quality cleaning in the Mat-su Valley and Eagle River area. Having worked for Sam’s Carpet Care
since 1991 to present Karen brings her talents and friendly smile to the office. Emily brings
energy, enthusiasm, a cheery smile and laughter to all she meets. I, Tyson, have dedicated over
twenty-two years to the study of advancing technology that is involved in the cleaning and
restoration industry. Beginning in 1988 when I received my first certification as a carpet cleaning
technician and continuing with each new class, my goal has been to better serve my clients through
knowledge.
I have advanced my education in areas of upholstery cleaning, water damage restoration, commercial
carpet maintenance, fire and smoke restoration, color repair, odor control, carpet repair and
re-installation, applied structural drying - I have received three journeyman level certifications
--textile cleaner, fire and smoke restorer, and water damage restorer as well as master level
certification in textile cleaner, fire and smoke restorer, and water damage restoration. I have
placed a large emphasis on indoor environment studies by receiving certification in applied microbial
remediation technician.
